TimeTick AssuranceEarly access

Does your CSMS still work the way it did at launch?

TimeTick Assurance keeps testing your CSMS after launch.

Backend updates and configuration changes can break charging long after go-live. TimeTick Assurance re-runs your test scenarios against your CSMS (charging backend) on a schedule. It alerts you when charger traffic looks wrong and keeps a run history for every charger connected to TimeTick.

What you can test

Your backend and connected chargers, between releases

CSMS behaviour on a schedule

Run the same scenarios against your CSMS daily or weekly. Catch a regression before drivers do.

Connected chargers

See when a charger connected to TimeTick starts rejecting commands or its transactions stop starting.

How it connects

Set up once, then it runs on its own

1

Connect

Point TimeTick's virtual charge points at your CSMS by its WebSocket URL.

2

Schedule

Pick the scenarios to repeat and how often they run.

3

Watch

Runs, logs and alerts land in one dashboard. Your existing monitoring stays as it is.

What you get

What your team sees

Dashboard with history

Status, run history and logs for every charger connected to TimeTick.

Protocol alerts

A flag in the dashboard when commands are rejected or transactions don't start.

FAQ

Questions about TimeTick Assurance

Do you run test sessions on our live network?
Live-network checks are in beta, and we only run them by agreement. Test sessions on a live network create transactions that count toward your reported uptime, so we agree the scope first. By default, scheduled runs go against your CSMS from virtual charge points and against chargers connected to TimeTick.
Does this replace our CSMS monitoring?
No. Your CSMS shows how your chargers report on themselves. TimeTick runs its own test sessions with virtual charge points and checks the outcome. It works as an independent layer next to your monitoring.
Can TimeTick tell a hardware fault from a software one?
Not fully. From the cloud we see the logical side of a session: authorisation, commands, transactions, meter values and certificates. We don't see the cable, the power electronics or the handshake with the vehicle.
Where do alerts appear?
In the TimeTick dashboard.
How much does it cost?
TimeTick Assurance is in early access. Pricing is agreed with each early-access customer.
